The Akashi Kaikyo suspension bridge, also known as the “pearl Bridge” in Japan, has the longest central span of any suspension bridge on Earth at 1,991 meters (1.237 mi).

The striking combination of apple wood and tiger eye in our Akashi model is an homage to the combination of grace and stability with which its eponym handles the elements.
