The Djado Oasis is located in the northeast of the Sahara Desert, and is now considered a ghost town. The former inhabitants of Djado prospered out of the salt and dates harvest. Until this day, it is still unknown why they decided to leave their city.
Combining red padauk and dark leadwood, our model represents the colors of Djado’s date palm groves.
