Travelling through the Harz
Posted: April 22, 2020Categories: Time for NatureI wanted to use October to take some scenic autumn pictures for my portfolio. Therefore, I spent four days in the Harz Mountains. The national park of the Harz is the perfect backdrop. Besides rivers, ponds and lakes, mountains and hiking trails can be discovered.
And that was exactly my plan. Early in the morning, before the sun rose, I grabbed my camera, drove to a lake and waited for the sun to come up. Unfortunately, the weather god had something against it. But even without the sun's rays, the Harz offers many different motifs.A highlight is the Brockenbahn, which leads to the Brocken, the highest mountain in Northern Germany. If you want to break out of your everyday life for a few days and get fresh, clean air, you should look at the Harz Mountains as a weekend destination.
