At the ripe age of 22, the legendary English naturalist Charles Darwin embarked on a five-year voyage around the globe with the HMS Beagle.
His daily life included documenting wildlife, collecting and examining specimens, archiving fossils, and conducting hydrographic surveys.
The journey changed him and years later he would change the world with his publication of On the Origin of Species in 1859 where he established that the diversity of life stems from a common descent through natural selection, the basic mechanism of evolution.
A bold watch to honor a bold man.
