In 2010 Laura Dekker sailed solo around the world, at the time she was 14 years old. The circumnavigation began on August 21, 2010, in Gibraltar and ended on January 21, 2012, at an island in the Caribbean.
Our model Laura is equipped with a case made from stainless steel in gold, distinctive zebrawood and light oak wood. The slim wristband of this timepiece is made from genuine green leather.

Exotic wood with character. Zebrawood is a unique and incredibly beautiful type of wood. It owes its name to the special striped pattern, which makes our accessories extravagant eye-catchers. The wood comes from the tropical rainforests of West Africa, and we only use FSC-certified wood for our products.
OAK
A wood for all occasions. Oak is one of the best-known and most popular types of wood. Due to its durability and visual elegance, this wood is perfect for our watches, sunglasses, and jewellery. The natural shades and even grains can be combined with many different materials and colours. A versatile wood that we can't get enough of!
Metal-Core Technology
Our Metal-Core technology has been especially developed in order to make our watch constructions with natural materials even more durable. With timepieces that have this special type of construction, the clockwork is encased in an airtight metal jacket that guarantees a waterproofness of up to 5ATM.
We thereby unify the best of two worlds: natural diversity of materials & the longevity of our designs.
