Harmonious, timeless and quiet - that is how I would describe this autumn morning at the Hubertussee. At least almost quiet, just the artificial sound of the camera shutter interrupted the natural harmony of silence.

Mist is still hanging between the spruces, while the birches are already in the sunlight. The warming rays of the sun reach the cold and damp roofs of the wooden huts. Due to the steam, it looked as if the huts were burning.

For me, autumn is symbolic of the time in which the past is left behind - time for something new. The leaves on the trees change colour, fall from the branches and thus free up space for the next leaves.

Many things become calmer and slower. The penultimate season of the year gives us time to reflect on the past and the future, to let new ideas grow and to organize them.
